The red telephone box outside of Old Wives Lees village hall was badly in need of maintenance to seal the windows from water entry and repaint it. Work is well underway but is a little behind due to bad weather. It’s been necessary to remove all the books for a few days to allow this work to happen. The shelves are also being re-organised to provide better display of books. Hopefully everything will be completed by about 24th April and the books will be returned.
Our little library is free to use – we welcome everyone to borrow books, exchange books or donate books in good condition and share the joy of reading!
