Ashford Borough Council is updating its local plan which is the framework for future planning and development.

A series of public drop in meetings are being held – one of these will be in Chilham Village Hall on 1st August between 2pm and 8pm – no need to book or register – please feel free to drop in, find out more, ask questions and have your say.
A group of Chilham Parish Councillors will be attending this event, and the Parish Council will work to ensure our residents are kept fully informed about this process. We are also looking into arranging an open meeting for residents to address the local plan in due course.
